Enchanting Positano

Positano is the first jewel of the Amalfi Coast. Once again, nature has created an incredible succession of enchanting landscape which defy the power of language to describe. Describing the colours of the water and the sky to grasp the infinite shades, is not give the feeling that only the view of these places can offer. Positano is notable for its picturesque townscape, built on terraces on the hillside or clinging to the rocks. The town is intersected by a network of alleys and stairways, clinging to the mountain slope, running under arches, or descending precipitously and tortuously to the sea below. Even the architecture of the houses is special: the facades of the houses have large loggias, and the roofs are sometimes closed in a dome. Among these stands out the dome of the church of Santa Maria Assunta.
